Giving Programs

The HealthCare Foundation for Orange County welcomes applications for funding from non-profit organizations offering programs which will improve the health of residents in Central Orange County.

Areas of Interest

HFOC’s current focus is to improve child, adolescent and family health through increased access to prevention and primary care services.  Funding will emphasize expansion and development of services for low-income families in Santa Ana, Tustin, Orange and Anaheim to:
  • Empower parents and caregivers with information, resources and support to ensure the health of children and families
  • Bring culturally relevant services and information into all communities served
  • Remove access barriers such as those due to transportation, language, cost or location
  • Provide access to prevention and basic health care.
  • Encourage innovative services and proven models for effectively addressing community health priorities and delivery system gaps
Where possible, the Foundation will support programs which increase personal responsibility for health and strengthen families by informing parents and involving them in their children’s healthcare.
