In the final year of this multiyear project, Anaheim Memorial, St. Joseph Hospital and the Orange County Ethnic Workforce Initiative Collaborative Group continued to provide support for bilingual/bicultural health workers at local facilities to upgrade their skills and fill critical local patient care vacancies as medical technologists and nurses.

An additional year of support was provided to this collaborative effort, with Latino Health Access and four Santa Ana elementary schools, to build on existing relationships, modifying policies and practices in the schools, community and at home to address and prevent serious overweight problems in children.
