William B. Stannard retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch Life Agency, Inc., based in Princeton, New Jersey. A graduate of UCLA, Mr. Stannard had previously held executive positions with Transamerica Assurance Company and Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Company. His volunteer activities have included active involvement in Santa Ana Rotary, the Bowers Kidseum Advisory Board, and the United Western Medical Center Board. Mr. Stannard stepped down from the Board during 1998, to serve voluntarily as Interim Executive Director for seven months. Mr. Stannard now serves as the Chairman of the Board. He previously served as Vice Chairman from 1998-2004 and Chief Financial Officer of the Foundation Board from 2002-2006. He currently sits on the Foundation's Executive as well as Finance and Investment Committees.

Marven E. Howard is the retired President and former principal in the law firm of Cooksey, Howard, Martin and Toolen where he was engaged primarily in the field of Estate Planning and Probate for the firm. Mr. Howard holds degrees from Pasadena City College (B.S. in Business Administration) and Southwestern University Law School (J.D.). He has also done graduate work at U.C.L.A. in insurance and finance, and he received the CLU designation in 1959. He is active in the Orange Coast Estate Planning Council. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the Santa Ana Kiwanis Club, Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross, West Med Gold Club (an auxiliary organization of Western Medical Center), United Way of Orange County, D.A.V. Charities of Orange County, Tustin Boys & Girls Club, and the Rancho Santiago Foundation (past President). He is past President of the Orange County First Friday Friars and has served as an Advocate on the matrimonial Tribunal for the Catholic diocese of Orange County. He is a past Judge Advocate of the King Harbor Yacht Club, and enjoys sailing as well as hunting, fishing and karate. Mr. Howard is also Chairman for the United Western Medical Centers – Shell Board. Mr. Howard currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer. He is a member of the Executive Committee, Finance and Investment Committee, and Audit Committee. Mr. Howard served as Board Chairman from 1998-2004.

Donald P. Kennedy is former Chairman of the Board of The First American Financial Corporation and its principal subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Company. A 1940 graduate of Stanford, is a past President of the California Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association. He has held positions of leadership in the Chapman University Board of Trustees, Orange County Business Committee for the Arts, and the World Affairs Council of Orange County, among many. Awards include the UCI Real Estate Sumigarden Award (1995) and the Ralph Clark Distinguished Citizen Award of the Orange County Sports Hall of Fame (1994). Mr. Kennedy serves as Chair of the Board's Finance and Investment Committee.

Quynh Kieu, M.D. has been a pediatrician in private practice since 1979. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a past Chairman of the Academy as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Kieu completed her residency in Pediatrics at UCI in 1976-78. She is active in the committee structure of the Orange County Medical Association, and serves on the CalOPTIMA Provider Advisory Board. She has served as Chair of the Vietnamese American Coalition for Citizen Rights and Director of the Children's Advocacy Institute. Dr. Kieu is dedicated to "Project Vietnam", a missions program serving children in need of specialized medical services or surgery in Vietnam. Dr. Kieu currently serves as Co-Chair of the Foundation's Grants Review Committee. She served on the Executive Committee from 2002-2006.

Timothy P. Mullins retired from his position as Behavioral Health Care Director and Drug and Alcohol Program Administrator for the Orange County Health Care Agency (1986-1998) and presently works with the County of Sacramento. Prior service includes Mental Health Director for Santa Cruz County and Financial Manager for the Orange County Human Services Agency. He served on the Executive Committee of the California Conference of Local Mental Health Directors for five years and as County representative to the MediCal Reform Task Force. Mr. Mullins, a graduate of California State University – Fullerton, is a recipient of the Thomas F. Riley Community Service Award and the Orange County Human Relations Commission Award for Outstanding Contributions and Efforts to Cultivate Genuine Understanding and Appreciation for Equality, Human Rights and Justice. He serves on the Foundation's Audit Committee as well as the Grants Review Committee.

J. Fernando Niebla is the founder and Managing Partner of International Technology Partners, LLC (ITP) a business and technology consulting firm serving both the U.S. and Latin American markets. Prior to ITP, Mr. Niebla founded Infotec Development Incorporated (IDI) in 1979, an IT services organization serving primarily the defense industry, and was its CEO through 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science from the University of Southern California. He and his wife, Olga, are recipients of the "Giving is Living" Award (2002) from the Volunteer Center of Orange County, for their many charitable efforts in the community since 1962. Mr. Niebla serves on the Boards of Union Bank of California, Pacific Life Insurance Company and Granite Construction, Inc. He is a founding member of the Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) of Orange County and continues to serve on its Advisory Board. Mr. Niebla currently serves as Vice Chairman. He previously served as Secretary of the Foundation Board from 2004-2006 and serves on the Executive as well as Finance and Investment Committees.

John O. Strong, M.D. is a retired reconstructive plastic surgeon, with appointments at several hospitals within Orange County. A graduate of Yale University (B.S.) and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Dr. Strong is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member and past President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Strong is past Chief of Staff at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He has served actively in numerous academic and professional societies, and remains active in the Orange County Medical Association. Volunteer commitments include President of Borego Springs Community Association and involvement in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park in the visitor center as well as the Paleontology program. Dr. Strong currently serves on the Finance and Investment Committee and the Executive Committee. He is the former Chairman of the Board for the Foundation from 2004-2006 and previously acted in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer from 1998-2004.

Lilia M. Tanakeyowma serves as Dean of Student Affairs for Santa Ana College. Prior service has included the positions of Executive Assistant, Fourth Supervisorial District, County of Orange; Program Director, California State University, Fullerton, Education Talent Search; Executive Director, Orange County Coalition for Immigrant Rights and Responsibilities. She has been an active volunteer, including service as Red Cross Chairman of the Pacific Region (Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California and the Pacific Islands); United Way of Orange County – Chairman, Hispanic Development Council; Chairman, Board of Directors, Orange County Human Relations Council. Among her numerous awards are the Nordstrom Community Service Award (1995) and Woman of the Year for the 35th State Senate District (1989). Ms. Tanakeyowma currently serves as Secretary of the Board. She also serves on the Executive as well as Co-Chair of the Foundation's Grants Review Committee.

Anthony M. Magno established WG University for Western Growers, a leading agricultural trade association based in Irvine, California. He has worked in diverse industries ranging from steel processing to high tech. Mr. Magno has held leadership positions with a number of Orange County based businesses. He was managing partner of SMES, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in software training / leadership development. He also directed training operations for Phoenix Technologies, a global engineering firm and served as senior consultant for Ernst and Young LLP's Pacific Southwest regional offices. In his spare time, Mr. Magno teaches business application classes at Santiago Canyon College and graduate courses in organizational leadership at National University where he is an adjunct professor. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. Mr. Magno is an active member of Toastmasters International, Corona del Mar where he served as vice president of education and is their immediate past president.

Zee Mabel Allred (Emeritus Board Member) is Chairman and CEO of Pool Water Products, a California Corporation with nine branches throughout California and eight out-of-state, in Florida, Texas, Arizona and Nevada. The company also does business in 35 foreign countries, and employs more than 350 employees. Pool Water Products has been ranked as the second-largest woman-owned business in Orange County, by the Orange County Business Journal. Ms. Allred's philanthropic activities have included service on the Board of United Western Medical Centers, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Orange County, the National Assistance League, CHOC Foundation, among many. She served as the Board Secretary from 1998–2004.
